Purpose
Serve as the first point of contact for guests and set the tone for the evening. Check-In volunteers create a smooth, welcoming entry experience that reflects the warmth and intentionality of the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive with warmth and energy
- Manage the guest list and verification process
- Handle walk-in registrations and answer basic questions about the event
- Coordinate with door staff to maintain a smooth entry flow
- Flag any needs or issues to the day-of lead in real time
Helpful Skills
- Comfortable with people, crowds, and a fast-moving entry environment
- Calm and solution-oriented when things don't go exactly as planned
- Basic familiarity with event check-in platforms is a plus but not required
