Home Base Helper

Role Purpose
The Home Base Helper ensures The Mahogany Project’s physical office and boutique spaces are clean, welcoming, and operationally ready for the week. This role focuses exclusively on environmental upkeep and organization, not administrative or programmatic work.

Key Responsibilities

• Wipe down and freshen shared spaces (tables, counters, seating areas).
• Break down, flatten, and remove cardboard boxes and packaging.
• Organize the operations room to maintain clear walkways and labeled storage.
• Restock and straighten the boutique to ensure items are visible, orderly, and accessible.
• Notify staff if supplies are low or if maintenance issues are observed.

Helpful Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfort with light physical activity (standing, bending, lifting light items).
• Ability to follow organizational systems and labeling.
• Time management and ability to complete tasks independently.

Qualifications

• Must be able to volunteer on-site.
• No prior experience required; orientation provided.
