Care Mail Volunteer

Role Purpose
The Care Mail Volunteer supports community connection and donor stewardship through written correspondence only. This role focuses on creating affirming, timely mail and does not involve fundraising strategy, data entry, or event planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft monthly birthday cards for community members.
• Write handwritten or typed donation thank-you notes using provided templates.
• Assemble, label, and prepare outgoing mail for distribution.
• Assist with organizing stationery, cards, and mailing supplies.
• Follow tone and language guidelines aligned with TMP values.
• Complete and mail open merchandise orders.

Helpful Skills

• Strong written communication and handwriting clarity.
• Warm, affirming, and detail-oriented writing style.
• Ability to meet deadlines for monthly mail cycles.
• Comfort working independently or in quiet group settings.

Qualifications

• Must maintain confidentiality of names and addresses.
