Volunteers must pick up condoms and other contraceptives from The Mahogany Project office, as requested by Our Little Red One Shop on Reed Rd in Sunny Side. After collecting the requested supplies, you will return to the location to refill.
Role Purpose
The Prevention Drop/Pick Volunteer supports The Mahogany Project’s prevention and gender-affirming care distribution by transporting supplies between TMP and partner organizations. This role is strictly logistical and does not involve inventory preparation or client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up prevention and gender-affirming care items from TMP or partner locations.
- Deliver supplies to designated partner organizations or community sites.
- Confirm quantities at pickup and drop-off using provided checklists.
- Communicate completion of deliveries to staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and care when handling sensitive items.

- Ability to follow delivery instructions precisely.
- Basic organization and item verification skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes or bags of supplies.
- Must be comfortable traveling locally within the Houston area.
