Purpose
Support the beverage service area to ensure guests have a smooth, enjoyable experience throughout the evening. Bar Support volunteers assist with service, organization, and responsible alcohol distribution in compliance with Texas law.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with bar setup and breakdown including stocking beverages, ice, cups, and suppliesSupport drink service for wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options throughout the eventMonitor guest interactions in the bar area and apply TABC guidelines as neededKeep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked during the eventCommunicate any concerns regarding guest safety or alcohol service to the day-of lead immediately

Helpful Skills

Experience in bar, catering, or beverage service preferred (not required)Comfortable in a fast-paced, social environment

Return at the designated breakdown time at the close of the eventBreak down tables, chairs, and activity stations and pack all supplies and equipmentRemove trash and any organizational materials from the spaceConduct a final walkthrough to ensure the venue is restored to its original conditionAssist with loading out any supplies or equipment as needed

Ability to work efficiently and follow direction in a post-event environmentComfortable with light physical tasks including lifting, moving furniture, and standing for extended period
